Our mission is clear - To empower young women through Education, Mental Health and provide a sustainable and consistent supply of period products through the use of data. We believe that girls belong in school by ensuring they can experience menstruation with dignity and comfort.

I am told, I am the first woman to get inside a gold mine in Vihiga county, Kenya. In many parts of the world, women are not allowed to go anywhere near a mine because it’s believed that mining sites are men's territories, so women are responsible for removing gold from the soil after the actual mining process. Women are kept away from the mine shafts; dark, dusty, claustrophobia-inducing holes that usually go almost a Kilometre into the earth. “It is not safe for a woman to go down there. It is just not done."

#FichaUchi: A Personal Journey in Data Protection Awareness

In 2019, Kenya passed its Data Protection Act, paving the way for better data privacy. However, a 2020 Amnesty International poll revealed that 54 of Kenyans were unaware of their privacy rights. To tackle this issue, I was involved in the #FichaUchi campaign, where I contributed by editing videos, capturing photography, and designing materials. This initiative aims to educate citizens about their rights and responsibilities under the Data Protection Act, helping to create a safer digital environment for everyone.
